Here it is, my final artifact, named Bask In It - Menstrual Display Plinth.

I am so happy with the way it turned out, and to see my passion for the past month turn into a physical 'thing' that I can hold in my hands. If you want to check out my process and progress over this project you can check out my other blog posts here.

Description

I created a description to go along with my artifact and explain the meaning behind my decisions. I decided that Wellington was a good location for this artifact to be found, as that is where I'm from and I feel that Wellington has a progressive and 'quirky' culture, in which 'future' products may come out of.

I am very proud of my final artifact, and the process I have taken. I feel that I have learnt a lot of skills both technical and process related, from interviewing, to concept ideas and sketching to CNC routing, and casting concrete. Starting with a passion for menstruation and coming up with insights and artifacts has made my passion for menstruation and the future of it even stronger.
